Selective Land Clearing in Killingly

Scope of Work

• Selective tree marking with owner walk-through
• Forestry mulching of brush and small trees
• Stump grinding to below grade
• Burn pile management and debris haul-off

Challenges

The owner wanted a 30-foot row of tall pines along the roadside left standing and asked us to give a small wetland in the southeast corner a wide berth. We hand-flagged the buffer before any machine moved and held the mulcher a full tree-length off the wetland markers for the duration of the job.

Outcome

The buildable acreage finished clean, the pine screen stood untouched, and the wetland stayed exactly as we found it. The owner posted the lot on the local Plainfield-area builder board and collected three foundation bids inside a week.
