Scope of Work

• GPS site survey with elevation map
• Rock removal where ledge surfaced
• Cut-and-fill to engineered pad elevation
• Finish grade with positive drainage on all sides

Challenges

A ledge of granite surfaced right where the garage corner needed to sit. Because we had already probed the site, the rock work was priced into the quote from the start, so no change order landed on the owner later. A hydraulic breaker worked through the ledge and the days held to plan.

Outcome

We turned the pad over on the same date we originally quoted, with the rock removal folded into the schedule instead of tacked on top of it. A year later the builder reported the foundation hadn't settled a fraction.
